Are you sick of me posting stuff yet? It's like I can't stop writing now that I'm out of school. I CAN'T STOP!! And I love it! It makes me so happy! And today I have been working on LIGHTS. Oh, I love this story! I love where it's going and where we've been with it and soon I get to crush Ian's poor little heart. Which is going to break Emma's heart. And Trent/Donovan (spoiler) is going to get crushed sort of. But not really because he wasn't *actually* in love with her. Because he's evil at the moment. But oh, so attractive.
Any way, the point of this post. Over the last two years I discovered something. There are a number of Mumford and Sons songs that I just can't get over when I'm writing. I have a whole playlist of their songs that listen to on repeat. When I need to channel some rage (usually when writing about Donovan) I listen to the song White Blank Page. There's a line in there that I can't get over too. It goes "Can you kneel before the King and say I'm clean?" and I know that it seems simple and maybe unpoetic or even nonsensical, but those words, man, they've got POWER and I LOVE THEM.
When I need to channel some unrequited love (even though I'm the freaking queen of it) I listen to I Will Wait as well as Not With Haste. When I need to write about hope and faith I listen to Babel and Below My Feet. "Keep the earth below my feet. From my sweat, my blood runs weak. Let me learn from where I have been. Keep my eyes to serve, my hands to learn." Such beautiful words. #56 on my bucket list is to have Mumford and Sons write an original song for one of my movies. I would LOVE for them to write a song for LIGHTS when it's made into a movie because their music has become so intertwined in my writing process for that story. In so many ways, their music is the unplayed soundtrack. When I finish this book and it gets published and you all go pick up a copy of it, I recommend listening to Mumford and Sons while you read it (if you are one of those people that can listen to music while you read) OR, read the book, then go listen to Mumford and Sons and hear my story intertwine with their words and be happy. Be excessively happy. Because it would make me happy. :)
In other news, I found another actor I would love to cast as Jason Tyde. Seriously, peoples, I keep recasting these parts in my head, but it always helps me picture the story better. I have cast Emma in my head which is the first girl I have cast outside of Iridium. Have I even told you guys about Iridium?! I don't think I have. That's a whole other post. And so is this last paragraph. I'ma just leave this here and will get back to it next time I blog. Which will probably be in, like, 3 days or something. I'm totally addicted. Be excited.
Here is one of my all time favorite songs of theirs. It has become my theme song. Especially when I get sad about my life and things I don't have that I want in life that are righteous desires. I listen to this song and remember that I will wait. Enjoy:
And THIS is Emma's song. This is soooo Emma's song. This is her the entire first book. I don't even know if I believe. Dang It's like they wrote this song just for her. I LOVE it so so SO much.
A brilliant up and coming writer that gets lost on Pinterest far too easily and knows her way around a kitchen.

This is What Happens When You Graduate College
'''''I have been binge watching shows. I have been writing like a mad woman. I haven't left my room in days, other than to go to my job. I curled my hair the other day just to do something different. This is the life of a college graduate. I applied for jobs in New York, Chicago, Miami, Fort Collins and Salt Lake City. I don't actually think I'll get the one in New York, Chicago or Miami, but you never know unless you try, right? Those three are all writing jobs with magazines for entertainment and music stuff. Which would be fun. I would love it. But my real goal is screenwriting. Doesn't it just sound pretty? Screen-writing. scree-n-writing. scree-nwriting. Any way you say it, it sounds fun. And exciting.
I am an 80 year old woman. I think I've hit spinsterhood. Because when I watch movies and stuff, I totally embroider and do hand stitching and stuff. All I need is a few cats and I'm set for all eternity. But not really because I actually just really enjoy needlework. It's becoming a lost art.
I also rewatched some of The Lizzie Bennett Diaries. Have you guys watched them? There's 100 episodes on YouTube, they are 5-6 minutes a piece. Here's the first on just in case you haven't seen them:
I feel like this is now the story of my life, except my mom is not crazy. Nor is she trying to marry me off to some rich dude. But, I am a college graduate that is not married. And I live in Utah. People tend to worry about my chances of ever getting married. Because I'm single. And 30. SCARY. I think people worry that I'm not worried about it. But, it'll happen exactly as it's supposed to.
Um. I wrote something. It's probably awful, but I thought I'd share it any way. Here you go.

It's not that I couldn't tell him what
I was thinking, it's more that I didn't want him to over think what I
was already over thinking and thus perpetuate the cycle further. So,
instead, I watched him walk away. The love of my life. My best
friend. The only one that really understood me. I just stood there
and watched. I didn't move an inch. In the rain. I left my jacket in
the house. I hadn't expected him to just come in like that. And when
he talked to me, I couldn't think clearly. I was so distracted by the
sound of his voice that I couldn't hear his words. The fire in his
eyes was so fierce I saw nothing else. He was upset, I think. And
then he left as abruptly as he came. I ran after him. I needed to
know what he said.
“Wait!” He stopped at the sound of
my voice and turned around.
“I'm tired of waiting. All this time
you knew and you never did or said anything.” His words were truth
and I heard them now. A stabbing guilty pain settled in my stomach. I
knew it wasn't going away anytime soon. He was right. I had known for
months that he loved me and I avoided him because of it. Foolishly
avoided him thinking it was for the best.
“It's better this way.” I said.
Stupid stupid girl that I was. He walked over to me, grabbed my face
and kissed me so fiercely that I think I stopped breathing. I had
never kissed anyone before, but somehow my lips knew just what to do.
My hands found their way to his side and I held close to him.
When he pulled away, he looked at me.
Rain dripping down his face and off his eyelashes. He was looking at
me different, now. And not in a good way.
“You're right.” He said and let go
of my face. As he turned to walk away, I wanted to call out, but
couldn't. Instead, I just watched him walk away. And he didn't turn
back. He never turned back. And I stood there. Alone. In the rain.
Unsure of what to do next. Knowing we'd never be the same.
And then, here's another snippet from a different (maybe) story. It's going to be a series that is pretty much written like a sitcom. Each chapter is an episode and each book is a season, if that makes sense. My goal is to publish it and then actually make it into a TV show. That would be awesome. Any way, here's another snippet for you:
The walls of apartment 314 were old.
They were white-ish with many small holes from push pins and nails
being shoved through them. If the walls could talk, they would tell
you about the many pictures and frames that were placed upon them to
invite people into the room. If the floors could talk, they would
tell you about 2 a.m. Dance parties and stolen kisses from new found
love. If the ceiling could talk, it would tell you about the slumber
parties in the living room and Chopped marathons. If you could watch
time pass, you'd see lives grow and change. You'd see girls become
woman. You would find sisterhood.
Fall semester was supposed to start
like any other. It was a new school year and a new group of girls
were moving in. None of them knew each other, which was a first for
this apartment. It hadn't been bare for many years and the landlord
finally had a chance to update the apartment. A fresh coat of paint
on the walls and new carpet and furniture were brought in just in
time for the unsuspecting tenants to move in just before school
started. Isabella was the first. She seemed very quiet and reserved
as she unlocked the door and pushed open the brown door that still
had tape stuck to it from flyers that had long since been taken down.
She glanced around and took a deep breath in. Smelling the new paint
she smiled a little to herself.
“I was right, they did redo this one
before I moved in.” She said to an unseen friend behind her. As she
enters, so does the friend. He is tall and almost has to duck to
enter the doorway. He looks around, unimpressed and sets the three
boxes he is carrying down in front of him. Isabella walks through the
living room to the balcony that overlooks the parking lot. She opens
the door and steps outside.
“You can see everything from here. I
love it. I love this place. Come look, Jace!” Jason still seems
unimpressed as he walks slowly over to the balcony and steps outside
looking across the parking lot with her.
“Nice. It's great. You'll have so
much fun here.” He speaks in almost a monotone. Isabella hits his
arm with a playful expression.
“Come on, you'll love visiting me
here!” she replies. She walks back inside and looks around the
kitchen. It is completely empty and she smiles to herself as she
opens cupboards and then closes them again. As she works her way down
the row of cupboards, she notices the hallway leading to the rooms
standing open. Light pours in from the three rooms into the hallway
and she walks quickly towards them.
Um. I think that's all I have to say right now. It's late and I have no excuse for still being awake. I have no homework. I was applying for jobs, so I guess that's my excuse. With North and South playing in the background. Have you guys seen that mini series? Best four hours of your life. Then you, too, can fall in love with Richard Crispin Armitage. I know I sure did. And still am. He's replaced Tom Hiddleston in my life. No one thought that would happen, but it did. And now, I am going to sleep. Peace.

Best Day EVER!!!!
So, I'm a couple of days late on writing this, but it was my birthday, so I assume you will all forgive me. If not, that's dumb. It's my birthday....or it was two days ago. Any way....it was my BIRTHDAY!!! I love my birthday! It's such a FABULOUS day!!!! I am actually going to post again when the write up about my cake goes live in the next few days, but lets just say that my cake was very me this year. Yeah, and it was AWESOME. the end. Oh, and Logan didn't come over when I invited friends over. But that's okay. I really didn't think he would, and that's okay. Liam, on the other hand, has been really really sweet lately; which isn't entirely unusual for him, it just seems a little bit more than usual. I don't know what is going on there.
Any way, last week Tango and I went to see Ellie Goulding in Salt Lake, and before you think to yourself 'who on Earth is Ellie Goulding???' here is the song most of you have heard of hers:
and now I'm guessing your next thought is "Um....Soozee....that was kind of a weird music video...." yeah, I know, but it's a me and Tango thing. AND, that's what he got me for Christmas. AND, it was a lot of fun. Other than the stupid guy a few rows in front of us that kept jumping up and down right in front of me........I don't like to be touched (then why did I go to a concert?!?!?!) and there was soooo many people there. It was insane, and that guy kept blocking my view. I really wanted to throw something at him, but that would have caused a riot, and I didn't want that. SO, I enjoyed the concert and made fun of the drunk people. Plus, I went with Tango and that was a lot of fun. He and I don't usually go do stuff just the two of us outside of work, so it was just a fun night. Full of fog...that was scary. But we survived. And it really was sooo much fun! She is really really good live. Like, she sounds like she did in the video; only it was in real life. Crazy.
Before we went to the concert, we were meeting up with Tex and his wife (I don't think I've mentioned her before, lets call her Maddie) So, Tex and Maddie live in Salt Lake and we were going to meet up for dinner. So, we met them at their apartment and all headed over to the restaurant and Maddie was like "Our table is over here" and I was just thinking she had called ahead or something, so we follow her and when we get to the back of the restaurant, there's a big group of people at the tables. I was a little curious, and then I realized that I knew a bunch of these people! Liam was there, along with a couple of other friends! It was so crazy, I was soooo surprised! Maddie had planned a surprise party for both Tex and I (because Tex's birthday is the day before mine) and had invited all of our friends! It was so awesome! And she made me this book and had asked a bunch of my friends and my parents to write in it. It was super cute! She is so sweet! She and I have become best friends over the last few months, and she is just so awesome! It was a crazy weekend last weekend.
Oh! And before I went to dinner (you're getting the events backwards, but I'm sure you'll figure it all out in the end!), I went to lunch with one of my oldest friends. she told me she had gotten me a present and to close my eyes so she could give it to me. We were standing outside her bedroom and she opened the door to her bedroom and told me to open my eyes. I did, and there stood a life size cardboard cut out of David Tennant as The Doctor on Doctor Who!!!!!! I was speechless and could not move! It was crazy! He now resides in my room, and scares me to death every once in a while when I forget he's there. It's kind of scary to walk in and a tall looming figure is in your room. And then you realize he's flat and then you remember he's the Doctor and it would never be a bad thing to run into him. So yeah, that was my birthday pre-weekend. It was a lot of fun!!!

Hello Fall, I'm glad we're friends.
It's fall time. I love fall time. It starts cooling down and the leaves start changing. Its this time of year that I really really miss North Carolina. The trees there are everywhere and I absolutely loved it when they fell all over the ground and made everything a little more colorful. A-MAZING.
School started and I along with it. I'm taking some English classes (surprise surprise) and at the beginning of the semester I had this feeling just couldn't shake. Its hard to explain unless you've felt it, but I have only ever felt it one of time in my life, and that was the day I knew my mission call was waiting at home while I was not at home. Its the craziest feeling EVER. You may be wondering why exactly I was feeling this feeling again. I'm not going on another mission. I'm not really anticipating any huge new development in life, and yet the feeling would not leave me. It stuck around like the smell of cupcakes you are making for someone else. its actually kind of horrible in a non horrible way. Like I said, I can't really explain it. I still don't know what it was all for, but I'm back to my routine of work/school/social life/sleep....be jealous.
I hung out with Liam last week, just he and I, which has never really happened. It was crazy/fun. He's such a cool guy. I'm really glad we are friends.
I met a new guy at church on Sunday. Lets call him new guy, or NG. He's not from around here, and he's not like super duper attractive. He's actually kind of average looking, and yet, I am drawn to him. I met him Sunday and have hung out with him everyday since then. Yesterday we talked for about an hour. He's a really cool guy and I am really excited to get to know him better. watch for details, if ever there are any. :)

The Voice started on Monday. I love The Voice. Mostly because I LOVE Adam Levine. We're going to be BFFs one day. AND, that's just not me talking either, all of my friends think it will happen too. So, someday, somehow I am going to be best friends with Adam Levine and its going to be so cool. And then he'll write a song for my book turned into a movie. That's going to be a great day. And all of you can say to yourself and all of your friends "I remember when I thought she was crazy writing on her blog about being friends with Adam Levine, but look, it actually happened. And then you'll text me and want to meet him. I know how these things go. And the answer is, we'll see what happens. Ha ha ha. you guys are great.
I went out to my car last night after class and someone wrote on my driver's side window. It was awesome. I felt super special and loved.
Okay, I think I should go. My class starts soon and I should probably pay attention. Have fun!!!

The other day my Mom was playing the piano. If you don't know my mom, then you don't know that she is an AMAZING pianist and organist. I grew up listening to her play hymns as well as many other songs. There are a few that I am very fond of and I asked her to play for me. After she finished I asked if she would let me record her playing the piano so that when I don't live close to her I will still have that small piece of home. To me, her piano playing is home. It brings such joy to my heart and peace to my soul. I love it.

Thank You Netflix
I was on Netflix the other day looking for something new to watch and they suggested this show and they thought I might give it 4 stars. So, I figured why not give it a chance...here's a quick look at the show:
I watched the one and only season in about 24 hours. Between that and Maroon 5's Overexposed album I have been dead to the world, but living it up in my own happy place!
After watching the first few episodes of Accidentally on Purpose, I decided that the main guy, Jon Foster, is super attractive. Which is funny because he has lighter colored hair and I am usually a dark hair, light colored eyes type of girl. But, he has lighter hair and brown eyes. Crazy. AND, he has scruff/a beard for most of the show which I realized I actually kind of like...well, it was pointed out to me that I like guys with facial hair.

And, I realize that tattoos are not generally the best idea and I don't normally think they look good on people, but I really like his tattoos on the show. He has three stars on this right arm as I circled in the picture. Sorry if anyone takes offense that he has no shirt on. Scandalous, I know. I'm a horrible sinner. Me and some of my friends are always rating actors and actresses on a scale from 1 to 10. I have two 10s. A realistic 10, and an unrealistic 10. The realistic 10 used to be Josh Dallas hands down, he's Prince Charming from Once Upon A Time, but I think that Jon Foster is either tied, or slightly ahead of Josh Dallas. But, give it a week and everything could change...not that any of this actually matters, I realize its all very trivial. BUT, I'm young and single and have all this "free time", so what else am I going to be doing? ha ha ha...jk.
So, going back to beginning, the other obsession I mentioned was Maroon 5's new album Overexposed. I have always liked the band since Fort introduced me to them freshman year at USU. I fell in love with the clean version of their song "Payphone" even though its really sad and about a broken relationship because if you have nothing but a payphone, clearly you've lost EVERYTHING. Any way, I got the clean version of the CD and fell absolutely in love with it!!!!! Here is a music video that I feel really covers the theme of the whole album:
and I feel that the theme is that women will rip your heart out and leave you with nothing. Poor Adam Levine, clearly he's struggling with his breakup with his Russian Victoria Secret model. I really like that you can feel/hear an emotion in the songs though. A lot of times its all the same and I like it when artists mix it up a little bit.
Any way, this was an incredibly trivial post. I hope you liked it. Probably think I'm crazy, but its all good. You can call me crazy all you want, that doesn't make it true....most of the time. :)

I heart....
....many things, but today I heart Zachary Levi, especially in this song:
Confession: Sometimes I watch Tangled just to hear his voice. Ha ha ha, actually I LOVE that movie because it is AWESOME. but, I do love that he can actually sing quite well. CRAZY, I know. PLUS, in the music video he doesn't have a beard! that's pretty awesome because he almost always has a beard, as you can see in the picture George sent me a few months back.
I also heart my Changing Tyde soundtrack playlist that I will now share with all of you!!! HOORAY!!! K, so the layout is this: Song Title, Artist, Album. ENJOY!!!

Weird Dreams and RANDOM dating experience
I had a dream the other night that Fort and I were hanging out with Adam Levine (the lead singer of Maroon 5) and Andrew McMahon (the lead singer of Jack's Mannequin) and apparently we were BFFs or something because they both knew me and Fort. It was weird. and AWESOME. If it had been reality, I would have taken pictures (which I actually did do in the dream....) and post them here for you to see. BUT, since that was just a dream, I will tell you the crazy story that happened about a month ago.
I have a friend, lets call him George (because he wishes people would call him that....long story for another time) any way, George went to Vegas for a convention referred to as CES. I heard that one of my favorite actors, Zachary Levi (from Tangled, and Chuck) was going to be in Vegas that same week, so I sent George a text asking him to please go find Zachary Levi and take a picture for me. I was only half joking because what are the odds he would actually run into Zachary Levi?
Well, half way through one of my classes I felt my phone go off and pulled it out of my jacket pocket and saw this picture:

Isn't that a great way to end class? I think so! Yeah, so George actually did run into Zachary Levi and made my week.
And, while we are on the subject of George....I went on a date with him last week. I needed a date for a date dance at the Institute and couldn't find anyone to go with, so I asked George and because he is AWESOME he agreed to go. We went to dinner with my friends, and then headed to the dance where George (who doesn't like dances, and I knew this before I asked him to come) said something to the affect of: "What would you do if I just kidnapped you and we went and did something actually fun instead of going to the dance?" to which I replied, "You tell me before we leave for dinner so I can grab a pair of jeans so when we do something fun I can change out of a skirt" we ended up going to the dance for a few minutes and then sneaking out so my friends didn't notice and went to the movies. So, pretty much, George is one of my favorite people. Which is probably a good thing because I hang out with him and two other girls several times a week. Its fantastic. And, that is the end of the story, for now at least....

New Adventures!
Sorry I haven't written in forever! Emmalee read me what she had posted, and I think she summed up my life at the moment quite well. She's a great secretary, I think everyone should have an Emmalee.
So, I told a friend of mine I'd make his birthday cake in September. I don't think I've talked about him before, so we're just going to call him Ty. Any way, I told Ty I'd make his cake and yesterday I was hanging out with him and a few other people at Coldstone and he said "Hey Sooz, I want that kind of cake" pointing at an ice cream cake. "Okay" I said and he was like "Really? Aren't those kind of hard to make?" and I gave him that look like 'are you doubting my domestic skills?' and then I responded with, "I love a challenge" SO, I am going to do a trial run this weekend I think...who wants ice cream cake???? Let me know if you live in the general vicinity of my house :)

On an entirely random note, sort of entirely random because I had Emma make mention of it last post, but I saw the new Jane Eyre movie and I LOVE it. Even though its REALLY sad...until the end. It does end well, that made me happy. After watching the movie I read the book, and I liked them both really well!
However, I feel that the girl that plays Jane in the movie is an awkward kisser. I know this is random, and I refuse to admit how many times I have watched this movie since I first saw it...but its a lot, and at first I was trying to figure out why its awkward when they kiss...and its totally because she's AWKWARD. SUPER AWKWARD. Go watch the movie and you'll totally see what I mean!
BUT, in watching this movie, I thought the guy that plays Mr. Rochester (Michael Fassbender is his name), looked kind of familiar...like I'd seen him in something else recently. He kind of looks a little like Hugh Jackman at first, and then it hit me...He's MAGNETO in X-Men: First Class!!!!!!!! Another of my recent favorite movies! Only he's more attractive in that one because he has short hair and no facial hair.AND, because in Jane Eyre, Mr. Rochester is like 40 or something and they totally made him look older than he actually is (he's actually 34...in case you were wondering...).
Um...I'm in school this semester. Yay for Soozee! I'm going back full time...lets pray I don't die, or fail. Both would be equally horrible. I am taking 2 English classes (Critical Intro. to Literature, as well as Post 1800 British Literature) a health class, and an Ethics and Values class that I am no very excited for, however, after this semester I only have math to get through and I'm completely DONE with generals!!! HOORAY!!! Be excited/happy for/with me!!!!
Many of my brothers will die after I confess this next random thought of the week...I kind of like country music lately. There is a song by Blake Shelton (not even like pop country...we're talking COUNTRY country.....CRAZY!) called God Gave Me You....oh my gosh, I love that song. Its already made it on the top 25 in my itunes...in fact it is currently #3 after All We Are by Matt Nathanson (which will remain #1 for forever if I have any say in it!) and There There Katie by Jack's Mannequin. OH, PS: I am going to see Jack's Mannequin LIVE in October! I'm SUPER DUPER excited for that one! Me, Fort, and my brother are all going. Its going to be sooo much fun! But yeah, Soozee and country music, who knew?!?!?! Right!?!?!?!
I'm just going to apologize now and let you all know that if I don't blog very much in the next little while it is only because I'll be a hermit in school. But, I love you all and will update, or have Emmalee update as often as possible, k!?!?!?!

Oh hello again
Sorry its been so long since I last posted! I have been crazy busy! I found out that I got all Bs in my classes!!! Some people may be a little disappointed in all Bs...I am not one of them. I rejoiced thoroughly! Just ask my sister in law, and my sister. They both got calls to share in my rejoicing!
The next three weekends are going to be busy for me because I have a birthday cake each of the next three weekends. This weekend is Digger's birthday. He turns the big 3-0. He's an old man, I know. But very attractive for his age. Any way, I told him back in January I'd make his birthday cake if he wanted me to and so I am. I am making my delicious chocolate covered strawberry goodness cake. For a reminder of which one that is, you can look at it here. Yeah, its going to be amazing, except this time its all me, Emily moved away and its up to me to re create this amazing cake...but I'm pretty sure I can do it. And, it will turn out amazingly.
Next up in the cakes will be an Incredible Hulk cake...I'm still deciding what I want to do with that one, and then the third cake is either going to be X-Men or Captain America themed. yeah, I have my work cut out of me. But, I'm still excited for them!! YAY!!!
In other news, I am listening to a ridiculously large amount of Maroon 5 these days. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their new CD Hands All Over. Yes, the title is kind of....um...interesting? But the CD is AMAZING. I LOVE it. Also, I read the book Beastly on Friday. Yeah, I read the whole book that afternoon. Really quick read, and it was a pretty good story. I kind of want to see the movie now.
Speaking of movies, I went and saw Fast Five last weekend with my brother and BFF Fort. It was really good, if you like the Fast and the Furious movies. This one had more plot, I felt, and was really good.
Any way, there is your update on my life. I made Lemon Tarts yesterday because I now have church at 8:30AM in Provo. I get home around noon and have the entire day to do whatever I want!!! It has truly become a day of rest and I love it!! HOORAY!!!

Uncharted
This isn't so bad....oh wait, I've only jogged a block. Dang. How long is a 5K again? What was I thinking? I think my brother is trying to kill me...seriously....
So, I was working on my homework (that seems to be never ending these days) yesterday and I heard the song "Uncharted" by Sarah Bareilles. Its goes something like this:
So, I was working on my homework (that seems to be never ending these days) yesterday and I heard the song "Uncharted" by Sarah Bareilles. Its goes something like this:
No words
My tears won’t make any room for ‘em.
Oh and it don’t hurt like anything I’ve ever felt before.
This is no broken heart no familiar scars
This territory goes uncharted.
Just me
In a room sunk down in a house
In a town and I don’t breathe
Though I never meant to let it get away from me
Now I have too much to hold
Everybody has to get their hands on gold
And I want uncharted.
Stuck under the ceiling I made I can’t help feeling
I’m going down
Follow if you want I won’t just hang around
Like you’ll show me where to go
I’m already out of foolproof ideas
So don’t ask me how to get started
It’s all uncharted.
Each day
I’m counting up the minutes ‘til I get alone
‘cause I can’t stay in the middle of it all
It’s nobody’s fault but I’m so low.
Never knew how much I didn’t know
Oh, everything is uncharted
Know I’m getting nowhere when I only sit and stare like
I’m going down
Follow if you want I won’t just hang around
Like you’ll show me where to go
I’m already out of foolproof ideas
So don’t ask me how to get started
It’s all uncharted.
Or, you can listen to it here:
Any way, back to the point of this post. I am going into uncharted waters, so to speak. My brother asked me last year if I wanted to run a 10K with him this summer. I thought that would be awesome, except I never started training for it. Crazy, I know. so, I have started training for a 5K, because I don't think I can run a 10K by the end of the summer, so I am planning on a 5K and we'll see what happens as the summer progresses. I'm kind of excited. I think this will be fun. I ran/walked 2 miles yesterday and listened to my new bff Sarah Bareilles pretty much the whole time. I like her new CD...its pretty good! So, here's to hoping I survive and I figure if I get really into this whole training thing, I will look amazingly gorgeous by the end of the summer, which is fantastic...not that I'm not already amazing (Bruno Mars tells me I'm amazing just the way I am all the time) and beautiful, but I think trying to improve yourself is always a worth while goal! So, here's to me!! HOORAY!!
