Happy Earth Day!!

Its been a while since I updated. My life is quite boring, so I don't feel the necesity to update all the time, sorry. Plus, dial internet is no bueno. Fortunatly we will be going high speed this Thursday, thank goodness, and I will be able to zoom accross the internet at the speed of sound...or something like that!
Well, my BFF Jen is going on choir tour, and then to Ukraine for 6 weeks and I'm kinda sad...because the summer is like the only time I get to hang out with her. Kinda sad...*tear*, but it's all good because I'm going to make new friends this summer!!! YAY!!
I watched the movie One Night With the King and was suprised that I liked it. Its the story of Esther and quite acurate to the Bible's telling of it. I was rather impressed. Its definatly a chick flicky cheesy one that I know B would watch and make fun of the whole time because he secretly liked it, but would NEVER tell anyone that ;)...I love ya B, and you know it.
They just came out with a new picture of Pres. Thomas S. Monson that I really like. Its way cool and you can check it out at lds.org, or deseretbook.com, I think. Pretty sure they'd have it, but its a great picture and I always like to have a picture of the current prophet hanging in my room and I was sad when Pres. Hinckley died because I didn't have one of Pres. Monson, but now I do.
Still working on that whole social life thing...kinda tricky sometimes...but it will come around eventually...I know it!

Really boring update...sorry!

Well, its been quite a while since I last posted. Sorry about that. I hate dial up internet and so I get too frusterated to post sometimes.
I went shopping with my sister tonight which was soo much fun. The two of us together is just a hilarious combination. I forgot how great it was to shop with her. I got a bunch of cute new clothes so that I will no longer be the "t-shirt and jeans" girl. Not that I didn't like being that girl, I just like variety now...pictures to come soon...hopefully.
I got into UVU for the fall semester yesterday which will be great. I have decided to move up to the Provo/Orem area in the fall so that I can go to night school and work during the day...we're going to have one super busy Suzy on our hands, but that's okay...it's going to be a good thing!
Work is going well...I really don't mind my job, and I have every evening available to do whatever I want!! Plus, I have weekends off so I can go visit people...I think I posted that in an earlier post...oh well!
But yeah, that's the big update for me...its kind of boring blogging when you are single and have no social life....gosh I don't have any dates to post about, or even any cute guys I hang out with because I don't hang out with anyone currently! This will change...eventually!

New Job and Girl Scout Cookies

Tomorrow I will officially be hired by Klune Precision Casting. It will be a good day, I feel it. I am very excited about it. The guy I report to came by today and said that his boss had given the okay to hire me and that they were working out all the details to keep me. Huge sigh of relief. They have mentioned that they wanted to hire me and that they could probably pay me pretty well, but I hadn't gotten the official word on it until today, and I am so grateful to have gotten the word on it too.
There is a guy that works in the same office as me named Perry and he bought about 6 cases of girl scout cookies to sell to any of us that wanted to buy them, however at $4 a box he isn't selling as many as he wanted to, so since they are in the office I am in, he thinks that we all in that office should sell them for him. Its kinda funny, because we really don't do it, but if any of you want girl scout cookies for $4 a box, just let me know!!!

Girly Post!

I've been on this total Gilmore Girls kick lately and have watched probably half of the sixth season and am a little excited to watch the seventh as I didn't get to watch it when it aired as I was on a mission. But, every time I watch it, I feel like talking really really fast about crazy things and make them sound like they are supposed to make sense.
I think I might have a job. I'm hoping. Please pray for me as well. I got a temp job through SOS and they have mentioned that they would like to hire me on if I was looking for a full time job. Not bad either, they'd start me off pretty well pay wise, and it's Mon-Fri 8-5...I really can't complain. Any way, I am really hoping and praying that I get it.
Oh, I stole this idea from Nat's post:

You Are...Elizabeth Bennet!

Elizabeth Bennet!

You are Elizabeth Bennet of Pride & Prejudice! You are intelligent, witty, and tremendously attractive. You have a good head on your shoulders, and oftentimes find yourself the lone beacon of reason in a sea of ridiculousness. You take great pleasure in many things. You are proficient in nearly all of them, though you will never own it. Lest you seem too perfect, you have a tendency toward prejudgement that serves you very ill indeed.

All possible results: Elinor Dashwood, Marianne Dashwood, Elizabeth Bennet, Fanny Price, Emma Woodhouse, Catherine Morland, Anne Elliot

Happy Easter!!

So, I went over to my sister's house today with my parents and my neice and nephew wanted to play Wii bowling, so me, Melanie, Jonathan, and Grandma went down to go bowling, which we did and it was a lot of fun. We also played a cow racing game which was a lot of fun to watch my mom play because I don't think I've ever seen my mom play a video game before in my life, but there she was playing! It was quite a sight.
Last night was the night of dissapointing movie endings. I first watched August Rush which was interesting and pretty good, but there was absolutely NO CLOSURE in the ending!! I was so upset. I did not like that at all! And then I watched Spiderman 3 which was also quite dissapointing, especially the ending to that one. Just end the story in a happy way, please! But, I guess I can't control these things.

when I grow up...

So, ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be one of three things: A writer, a teacher, or a dancer (probably of the ballerina type although I don't really remember). However, none of these professions really offer you any sort of substantial income, and I really can't dance...especially since I have the build of a football player. So, I am left to the same question when thinking about what I should do for college...what do I want to be when I "grow up"?? I've seriously considered photography, but there is also a lot of things that might prevent me from that, so at this point I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. You don't really need a degree to write, or to really take pictures either, so I know I need to go back to school, I just don't know what to go back for...any suggestions??

The Singles Ward

I have officially joined the singles ward. I don't know exactly how I feel about that. A guy that is a returned missionary seems a lot younger now then it did before I served a mission...that could be the difference I guess.
But yeah, they all wanted to me come to ward "stare"...I mean prayer, but fortunately for me I already had plans. Singles wards are such interesting things. While I was gone they split the singles ward so now there is 2 of them and someone was talking to me about how great it is, and I said "Really, thinking about it, isn't that a bad thing? Because the purpose of a singles ward is to get people married off, so if you have so many singles that you have to split the ward and make 2 isn't actually a good thing...is it..."
I don't know...I guess we'll see what happens. Who knows, maybe I will meet my future husband there or something...
